The Georgian Electrotechnical Association (GETA) has begun a working-level dialogue with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia (MoESD)—with the participation of Deputy Minister Inga Pkhaladze—to identify practical steps for improving safety, standards, and overall quality in the electrotechnical sector.
The initial exchange was constructive and focused on areas where coordinated cooperation between the private sector and the state can create additional value. As a first step, GETA shared with the Ministry a concise list of current sector issues and challenges, along with corresponding initial actions. The next aim is to determine the most appropriate formats for continued cooperation.
